As some of you know from about a month ago, I was debating on which Samsung to get. I decided on the Vibrant 3g. I have it running Bionix 1.3.1 Vanilla (the person I got it from set it all up for me).

My question is, on my computer I have a program called 'Expat Shield' to get a UK IP address and watch BBC iPlayer. The program is only available on Windows/PCs. Is there an app like it for the Android?

love my phone. So happy I chose it! :D Thank you all for your help on deciding.

You certainly picked the best ROM for that phone. I had Bionix 1.3.1 running on my Vibrant before I sold the phone. Excellent ROM for battery life :)

To search in the market, would I search IP Changer or something else? I saw there were a lot of programs to make your camera a security camera (or something like that) when I searched IP only.

That's good to know about Bionix 1.3.1 I asked the guy to put on whichever ROM was the fastest as far as speed and the best for battery life. :)

Search for "IP change" with the double quotes. While you're there do a search for BBC as well, there might be a dedicated BBC app.

Thanks so much, I will do that. There is a dedicated BBC iPlayer app for Android, but need an IP changer to use it lol
