Finally received the LG launcher a day or two after getting the Nougat update. Question:

I've heard following a system update, it's a good idea to do a factory reset, supposedly this will eliminate glitches and help the phone to run more smoothly. Is this true? Also I'm kind of scared to do the reset because I'm worried that the LG home launcher will go away and it will take forever to get it back again.

I never reset mine and have not had any problems with my phone. I did have some call quality issues but don't believe it had anything to do with V7 update. A re-activation of my phone service corrected the problem.
