Root firmware reinstall?

Is there anyway to reinstall this firmware M830VPBMD5_M830SPTBMD5_BST.zip via cwm? my usb is bad and odin doesnt work?

Get a new cable and Odin should work if you have all your USB drivers. So download the drivers . reboot the PC/laptop and try Odin with original or new USB cord.

Ive tried all that.. trust me.. i get a usb descriptor error whenever i plug the rush in. i use adb and samsung drivers frequently
