Hello there,i just got a sgs2 sim free unlocked here in PAKISTAN and checked that its not running the latest firmware. So i read about how to update it and found that youve got to do it through kies.Ran it but still got no update.I want to know whether i also have to connect it via usb or is doing it through wifi on kies fine?I mean apart from running kies over wifi.fo i also have to connect it via usb to show the update?Or is the update just not there? Its running the firmware XWKDD.Please help me out.thank you.

there's a thread here on the first page with the latest firmware. I flashed my Vodafone uk bloatware firmware with it using Odin, no issues, took about 5 minutes in total. Kies might not be showing updates because your provider put a custom firmware on it.
