I just checked this site and it says MDL is the latest. But MF3 is actually the latest for the i337-US version.

This site also offers MDL as the latest version for the i337 instead of MF3. I wonder why they are a version behind?

If you are ever likely to want to install a custom ROM on your phone be careful.

The latest Samsung ROMs have locked bootloaders and Knox security that will stop you re-installing a stock ROM if you install have installed a custom ROM after installing the ROM with the locked bootloader.

More information can be found in ironass' useful post on the topic in the rooting sub-forum.
