I just recently got a Samsung Galaxy S3 (turned in my Blackberry)
- and although it's been a bit of a learning curve, I'm enjoying it.
This morning a "Software Update" called FIRMWARE came up on my device.
- just wondering how long this takes?
I use my phone a lot and wonder if night time would be better - if it takes more than 20-30 min.
And anything else I should know before I install it?
(sorry if this has already been answered somewhere ... I've spent quite a bit of time searching on this site, and nothing came up)

Normally it takes less than 10 minutes to install an update, but I'm not sure as it varies depending on the size / complexity. I seem to remember it letting me know the size of the update and an approximate amount of time it would take to complete.
