When I first started to use the Android based Motorola backflip phone I thought that a Google OS based smartphone would be better than the Iphone 3G on every aspect, however my impressions are mixed, because although the camera is quite better (5MP vs 2MP from the Iphone) there are several usability issues that in my opinion may leave you a bitter/sweet flavour: 1. Android GUI in several aspects resembles a kind of Linux desktop, and has several rough edges the interface. IPhone OS in comparison takes very good care of that. 2. Android applications on market are not (yet) as polished as the ones available in Apple Store. Not to mention the number of apps available. 3. You can't do snapshots of the apps running in the phone, so you can't share errors and the weird things you find with the developers and buddies on forums.
