Who, here, will be the first?
Not actually sure what you're referring to though
My guess is to get Lollipop installed.
I thought of that about 5 mins after I'd posted... got up far too early this morning... will have to ensure I have my coffee before posting on AF!
Me! Me! Pick me!!
At any rate, LRX21T is "locked and loaded" so hopefully it won't be much longer!
Now... who's waiting for the OTA versus the factory image?
Waiting for OTA, here.
Too chicken to do factory image.
OTA? We don't need no steeenkin' OTA's.
I'll wait for OTA this time, by then hopefully Xposed & all my rooted apps & will be working.
I might do the image if it comes tomorrow and I can get drivers working right in Win 8.1.
I've tried two OTA's in the past and have always ended up flashing the factory image. Once rooted with CWM recovery, it's such a pain to get the OTA to work that flashing is easier.
I actually flashed my N7 the other night using fastboot on my Windows 10 laptop. No driver issues in fastboot, just had to switch to PTP for adb to work.
OTA should work fine for me. I'm currently 100% stock with a locked bootloader. I'm at work today, and have to pick my parents up from the airport tonight, so the earliest I could start flashing would be tomorrow. I'd like to avoid unlocking my bootloader again and wiping the device, but it's likely I'll do a factory reset soon after installation anyway, so what the hell, right?
EDIT: Also, since nobody mentioned it.
Images are up.
Just received OTA, and downloaded it, today, and all went well.
Still playing with it, but so far I like it.
Been running Lollipop for almost 2 weeks... welcome to the party!
Just commenting on the arrival of the OTA.
I am not a wizard.
As promised, I waited until my N6 arrived before flashing 5 to my N4. Got my N6 Thursday, flashed N4 on Friday. Both are doing just fine as long as I don't lose my Nano sim adapter
The Nexus 4 release date was November 2012. Features and Specs include a 4.7" inch screen, 8MP camera, 2GB RAM, Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, and 2100mAh battery.
