Contemplating rooting my DINC and wanted to get some peoples' take. I used z4root on my DX and it seemed alright, but wasn't sure if it worked on the DINC.

I used unrevoked and it was super easy. If you have windows, just make sure to download the bootloader drivers in hboot before you begin.
  3. I have tried and tried unrEVOked numerous times on both my own, and my fathers EVO's... "Failed to push root" every time... I've gone through the bootloader to driver process, I'm guessing it's a firmware issue. To my understanding, HOPEFULLY I am wrong, those of us who've seen Sprint firmware updates recently are waiting for unrEVOked 3.4 correct?

    Potent Gratitude,

z4root only gives you temporary root on the inc (goes away when you reboot) but can be used to obtain permanent root if unrevoked won't work. Unrevoked should be what you use first because it's a very simple process.
