Help Fixing the sync feature??

I have somehow disabled the auto sync feature on my s4 and have no idea how to fix it. I called Sprint and they said I should have boxes to check that are not present on my phone... Anyone know how to fix it??

you should be able to turn it on in your notification bar. Use 2 fingers to swipe down at the top
