Sorry this does not work on HTC hero(UK version) either that or I'm doing something wrong.
Used App installer to install this app instead of syc. Said installed OK and can see it in the "manage Apps" but when I go to "what is my flash version" just says no flash installed or disabled. Not to mention this is a huge file.

So still can't watch enbeded video content online, and as the Hero is not getting the 2.2 update looks like unless I root I'll not be watching any.

I've moved your post to the HTC Hero (UK version) section for more help.

It's never going to work. The flash released for devices like the Nexus One doesn't play nice with our older processors.

There have been people trying to get it to work on the hero with 2.1, but in the end I think Flash Lite was still the best they could manage.

    Nope :(

See my post above, it's not going to work on any ROM unless someone makes a flash.apk compatible with our processors.
