    I'm confused.

I'm able to pull up a site which has a Flash 10 object and it works no problem.

I thought I needed Froyo (2.2) and the Adobe Flash Beta App to get this working.

In fact, on my 2G Nexus One, that is what I had to do to get it working - upgrade to 2.2 when I found the link to the manual installer, and then install the Beta Flash App.

The site in question is www.juniper.net - the main image in the center is an animated flash 10 object, at least that's what it says in FireFox when I right click on it.. :)

it depends on the type of flash object because flash lite will render most things

Ok, I thought there were different levels of Flash-ness but didn't know for sure. I guess I didn't realize that "some" Flash was supported on iPhone, just not "most" or "all".

This does make sense (I have a web proxy which rewrites some Flash but not others for example). Thanks for smacking me upside the head and setting me straight. :)

Uhm, what? No flash is supported on the iPhone, period.

That is what I thought, thus my confusion.

On my iPhone if I go to www.juniper.net I see a Flash object show up no problem though. It doesn't work (it's animated) as expected, but it does show up (unlike the screenshots floating around of the nytimes.com flash content not loading at all). *shrug*

Looks to be full Flash 10.1, from what I can tell! I haven't noticed any Flash element not working yet. Even embedded video players work.
