Flash for 2.1 apk for rooted droids?

    OK so I was surfing when I came across this apk, I have no idea how to install but I read mixed reviews, some say it works, others say it don't. If someone can try it and get it working... please post how you do it.

    Don't bother. I did a nandroid back up and tried it just for the hell of it, but our stock 2.1 browser doesn't have the correct hooks to allow it to work. So unless someone ports the browser as well, I think we will just have to wait for a 2.2 rom..

    SKyfire doesn't directly play flash, the flash video goes to Skyfire's server, gets removed from the flash container and is then sent to your phone from their server.

    that flash apk is only meant to work with the stock browser anyway. Doesnt seem like much is going to get ported from 2.2 until the source is released

    this forum is for the Motorola Droid 1, ya might look into finding a forum related to your device. this thread hasn't been updated because the Droid is now running Android 2.2 which is Flash enabled. the Official Flash version is out on the android market for 2.2 devices.
