I was looking around the market and noticed Adobe Flash player was not listed. I never did do the last update or 2 because people said it stunk. Just wondering what the deal might be.

It was pulled from the market as the net is advancing into html5

There is a higher version that 11? If so you can always go to the adobe site to get it, I am going to go check it out.

I just checked the Adobe website and there is not a higher version than 11 which is what we have.

Wow it really is gone. Wonder if html5 is compatible with gingerbread. Good thing i have flash backed up.

Yes HTML5 is compatible and the removal was flash from the android store was known to be happening for almost a year now.

Will we notice a difference? What about our favorite video sites? Is this going to knock our favorite browser out of the box. Then again it could take forever for sites to start using it.

Well the 11.1 update was to make it compatible with ics devices. Not much of an update but that is the latest one.

yeah, I knew it was 11.1 I was just too lazy to put the .1 lol. I have the apk also if any needs it. I know a lot of phones don't support flash anymore. I say, as long as I have an apk my phone will have flash.....hopefully. I remember trying to get it on the Admire...what a nightmare.

The internets have been rolling to HTML5 for the last few years. Flash was made obsolete back in 2010. I could never get it stable on the Admire, didn't even bother on my Connect, and cant even notice it's gone.

I didn't put it on my Connect myself. I thought it came with it. Perhaps it came in a ROM or with root. I don't remember.
