I went ahead and flashed the new radios and I must say I went from roaming at home and 1X data to 2 bars and stable 3G.
I wiped cash and dalvik cash and flashed. After flashing it tells u to reboot and when u do it takes a little while with a green triangle circle then goes back to recovery. Then reboot again and every thing boots normal just a little bit longer on first full boot.
Did this on MikG2.5 with Golden Monkey1.1
    the zip file http://dev-host.org/wh7je5yncp5b/EVO_Radio_2.

I must say that I was a little worried about doing this because i read that it was possible to loose the radios and not get them back but i have a nandroid with the wimax keys so i just did it. Do this at your own risk because i am no expert on this.

Before this OTA my signal was great at my house, granted I could only get 3g cause I live in the sticks but 3g and Voice signal was great. After the OTA I noticed I was only getting 1x at home.

I flashed this update and suddenly I'm back to 3g and my signal strength has almost doubled. Sprint changed something kinda big I'm guessing. Maybe not in all areas but it definitely affected me.

I Highly suggest people update these radios. As always make a good nandroid just before flashing and make sure to check Wimax during the backup.

And thank you mike for bringing this to my attention if not everyone on this forums attention. Well played sir.
