    Hey Guys,
I'm new with Android devices. I bought Oukitel U7 Pro recently, but I got a virus on it and I want to flash a new OS on it, but I have never done something like that before. I'm interested in what the pros and cons are, how dangerous is it, and what OS can I flash onto my device.
    Thank you guys in advance...
PS. Here are the specs since I know it isn't a very popular and mainstream phone:
    • 5.5" display, IPS, 720x1280, 24bit
    • Battery 2500mAh
    • Storage 8GB + 32GB MicroSD
    • RAM: 1GB
    • CPU: ARM Cortex-A7, 1300 MHz, 4 Core
    • GPU: ARM Mali-400 MP1, 1 Core
    • SoC: Madiatek MT6580
    • OS: Android 5.1 Lolipop

    Welcome to Android Forums!

ROMs are very device-specific: unless there has been ROM development for your device, you really don't have a ROM to flash. You can't just pick a ROM designed for a Nexus, for example, and flash it to your Oukitel. It would likely fail to install: and if it DID install, it's almost a certainty that it would brick your device.

Getting rid of a virus may be as easy as a factory reset: if the virus has installed itself as a System app, a factory reset will not remove it and the stock firmware will have to be reflashed. If Oukitel will not release the factory image, you will likely have to send it to the factory for a reflash. I hope this helps.

Its great to have you here :)

What you need to do to flash an Oukitel U7 should be on their forum and support pages. But seems to be down at the moment with an SQL error.

Could try shooting them an email or web-form message, see if they can give you any information about it.
