Help Flashing different country stock ROM

Hi all,

I am in India, the latest release for SGS being 2.3.3. I was planning to flash the european ROM XXJVT, 2.3.6.
The question is..is there a risk in flashing a european ROM on Indian hardware? my phone model is I9000..the international version.

Great if someone could clarify.

Feel free to install any stock ROM into your GT-I9000.

I don't see any problems, however during flash process the PC connection should not disturb and phone should have enough battery level prior to start flashing.

yup... go ahead... jw1 is newer comparef to jvt... i am presently running on jw1 with csc and modem of indian ddjv9...
