Help Flashing with winxp?

Newbie at this but how can I flash the hero rom on to my i7500 with windows? All I hear is adb this and sdk that? All they only run on linux?

ADB will run on windows ...
Download the SDK for Windows x386 ...

This will included the ADB.exe in the Tools directory

Suggest that when you do the install select c:\SDK_1.5
as the install directory ...

Within my Nandroid Restore Guide are the instructions and links need to get ADB and Fastboot on your PC ...

My first install was on XP Pro
