While it's become apparent that Milestone 2 does not have a FM radio I would like to encourage you to write letters to Motorola demanding unlocking radio functionality on Milestone 2.
We all know that customers pressure can be successful in many matters so please don't be malcontents.

It is a shame that on a hardware which allows for FM radio, Motorolla still removes any support for that.
If you want to write a letter to Motorolla demanding a change in this issue you can go to this address:
    Support Login
    and submit a letter form.

    I wrote to them:
Hey guys let us all write to them and make some pressure!

I really doubt that this form of the letter will do anything.

Yeah. I'm sure you would do it better.
So stop complaining and go write it.

Shouting like Recep Ivedik will do nothing and I am not too sure Moto will do it even if we send them a million letters, same as with locked bootloader.

I wish all of those who want this and are going to write to Motorola the best of luck.

Yeah. You may laugh or not but the result is simple.
I just want to say **** you Motorola, now I have HTC Desire Z to choose.
    And that's how it ends!

Doesn't make much sense for any phone these days to ship without an FM radio.

On another note, Motorola aren't easy to convince, non-US owners has been nagging Motorola for many months on OS upgrades for non-US devices with 0 results.

Desire Z does have a fm radio, just check the specs.
sookster54 - you are right, so I'm happy that market as always solved the problem. Any company steel thinking in a monopolistic way will be punished this way.
    Learn Motorola learn.

I don't care that they don't care. I'm a customer and now I will choose what I like more. I don't even care if there will be more people who choose HTC instead Motorola basing on the radio and the blocked bootloader.
And I don't care szadzik about what you think. Take this under account.

Milestone 2 has an FM radio so I have no clue what the whole whine was about.

I think the manual refers to "internet-radio", so not FM radio just streamed content.

Quote from the manual page 48:

There is no FM radio evident regardless of what the manual says.
