So I managed to get the defrost version of froyo running smoothly on my desire. But the fm radio had disappeared. Couldn't find a replacement app. Any ideas? I've gone back tothe standard 2.1 htc android as I use the radio most days.

A little help would be majorly appreciated.

Best solution would be something like mercury fm radio it also has another 50 uk channels programmed in. That looks the closest to a full radio app

Ah awesome. I'll give DJ Droid a run.

Edit: DJ Droid has one hell of an ugly startup screen.

Just use MyBackup. Can reinstall all your backed up apps.

OK. I don't like sense. Is there a way of getting a stock froyo rom with the FM radio app too? I tried ripping the apk out of djdroid and just installing it manually but it force closes everytime I try to open it. Anyone know what dependencies are needed for the FMRadio.apk so I can get the bare minimum installed?

    Thanks.

You can use leedroid's froyo rom which has the fm radio. It is sense based but you can get launcherpro or any other if you dont like sense.

Well I'm using the defrost rom. But I wanted to more removes the sense stuff so that its not using up my phone internal storage. I know I could use launcher pro. That was all. I guess I'll have to keep waiting.
