Help Focus moves from Apps To Home Screen When At The Gym

I've been going to the same gym, with the same phone for a long time.

Recently, when I start an app like Pandora, YouTube, or even Facebook the app will cease to function and the focus will go back to the home screen of my phone. The apps will still be listed as running in my Task Manager.

My gym has free WiFi.

This weird bug happens inside of my gym, and even a good walk away in the parking lot of my gym.

It does not happen when I am at home, the apps work, and well beyond 2 minutes.

I've tried shutting WiFi and Bluetooth off in my settings, but not luck.

Any ideas as to what might be going on?

I think I figured it out.

I turned off the phone last night.

Everything was fine when I went to the gym today.

I had bluetooth turned off, though settings for an absent device were still there. Maybe rebooting the phone really, truly got rid of something.
