How can I create a folder and give it a 'name' in my HTC Desire and apply a password to it?

Or atleast make the folder hidden so other people cannot see it.

Is it possible via in-built android or through some free app?

    Thanks
    Kanu

I aren't aware of any way of doing it on the phone, but what about in windows if you sync to pc and go into the SD card?

Another option might be to place the files into an archive and password protect the archive file? Use androZIP or something maybe?

You can always use app lock to put a password on all file viewing apps. You can put a password on any app with it.
