Support Folders?

    I'm new to the world of Androids. I have the the HTC Evo 4G and wanted to know if there is a place where I can save sensitive information on my phone? I converted from the BB Bold 9700 on ATT, that phone had a password keeper. Evo does not seem to have a similar application. ++++PLEASE HELP ME++++

    I believe if you put a period before a folder name, it will be hidden from the default android applications but can be seen using Astro File Manager.

    So for example, if I have ".adult" on my SD card, when showing off pictures to the family nothing naughty would show up, but I could still access it with Astro File Manager if needed.

    Somebody more knowledgeable than I will chime in I'm sure.

    Thanks, I can download the Astro File manager from App market? I seen that I have a option to select a new folder but then I have no way to edit or add info into folder?? why is this....

    Wouldn't the password app already do that? (Don't know myself, curious though)
