I am wondering if there is an android app I can use to convert a regular font to an italics or oblique font....I have a font I love and it is only available as a regular font...I had a font manager in my BlackBerry that let me change the style ....but for the life of me I can not seem to find a similar app for my Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3,,,,by the way going from BlackBerry to Android was like going from dial-up to high speed internet

Fontomizer SP? Just download the italics version of the font you want.

Thanx for all the suggestions...however it is not a new font I am after it is just an italics or oblique version of an existing font whose font family only consists of a regular version... no italics, bold, condensed or extended variant. I was hoping for an app that would accomplish this like the one I had on my BlackBerry...I have been making due with a alternative font, but I really miss my Kelly Slab! I guess I will have to create my own oblique variant in Font Creator...I was just hoping there was a 3rd party app available to do this for me (Just lazy!!) Thanx again .... time to start reading Font Creator tutorials to learn how to do this myself. :argh:

Uh, not sure how you understand it, but the italics versions of fonts are indeed separate font packages. If you use fontomizer sp, some fonts are available there with normal, italics and bold versions. Just check if the font you want is included.

Thanx all .... but KELLY SLAB doesn't exist in any other variant but regular.... not in a pack or from any of the numerous font sites free or otherwise ..it is a stand alone font with only the one family member....however I have contacted the designer and he has an updated version coming out in a couple months which may include an oblique variant
