Erm, I just have my set at the default from the BB ROM which is 125 Min / 800 Max IIRC. Haven't noticed any significant battery change since before I had it OC'ed.

i am clocked at 800, but when it's in standby/sleep i have it set to switch to 250max/125min. battery life seems as good as before, maybe slightly better. it's all going to depend on how you use it of course.

    I have a similar setup
Charging - 800/250 - I frequently use it while charging.
    Sleep/standby - 250/125
    Power <30% - 250/125
    Battery >40C - 550/125
    950/125 set otherwise

Uptime battery test with slightly higher than moderate useage considering my norm:
20 min GPS - app heavy for a good 45 or so minutes - car mode without GPS about 10 - internet for about 15 minutes - 30 mins phone time
    These are approximates.
Uptime - 6 hours from 100% and now at 34%

This normal for you guys? I am going to do some more testing with no scaling. Home++ is a little laggy getting icons up from sleep or a FC (happens a couple times a day, but I will deal.)

    Let me know.

My 1st day with Beast (OC'd to 800) got me down to 15% battery life by the end of the day. My 2nd day with Beast (OC'd to 950) got me down to 70% by the end of the day.

    Do you scale or no?

Scaling enabled (if you don't enable it won't use lower power during standby)
    Charging: 550 Max, 125 min
    Sleep: 250 Max, 125 min
    Power < 25%: 550 Max, 125 min
    Battery > 40C: 550 Max, 125 min

So far with set CPU set at the 125 and 950 and the failsafe >40C at 550 and nothing else checked, it seems that my battery is a smidge better.
    More testing tomorrow.
