Wow that is really cheap but that's for new contracts I believe. Upgrade is around $150 at walmart. Just wondering internationally this phone is supposed to be very expensive but in the states it seems pretty cheap compared to the rest of the world. Is this phone different from the international version?

Yes it is. One big difference being the screen, from 4.27 to 4.52.

Every thing thats different is in our favor. It has a bigger screen, a larger battery, a notification light (the only us variant to get one) and it has a hdmi/micro USB combo port. The only bad thing is that the sprint version does not have NFC and all the others do but I'll trade that for the other goodies any day

This too.
But I don't mind not having NFC, because I have no use for it. :p

So are they legit third parties to pre-order from? Does the LogicBuy one have to be a new contract or does that price include upgrades as well?

The Wal-Mart and LogicBuy both come to 154.99 if your able to upgrade. I just went through the process as if I was going to before I actually did. If your new to Sprint period then it's cheaper. The thing is, no matter what shipping method you chose from LogicBuy it comes free shipping wise. Walmart is free standard and cost more if you want it 2-day(8.95 and overnight 18.95). I think I will go with LogicBuy. No tax when it was all being added up. I'm not saying I didn't add the tax. I mean they didn't have it when it was all said and done with the final price.

I called Sprint just now to make sure my original plan will carry over etc and that was a yes. I asked them if it got damaged or anything and they said it will be covered by Sprint. He mentioned Walmart and BB to be exact, but still said any third party carrier. The only thing I will be paying is the 154.99 and the new activation fee smh. $34 now I think. It was $18. Not a big deal for a cheaper overall price and getting it overnight! Plus I think the activation fee goes in your first bill cycle for your new phone anyways. That's why the first bill is always the highest. With my monthly discounted bill (25%) leaving me at 75$ a month is nice to me. Oh, and I am a Gold customer :)

Getting ready to put my pre-order in now with LogicBuy. Anyone else taking that route?

Okay, I just went through with the pre-order from LogicBuy. Total was $154.99. Kept my same plan ($69.99) plus the premium $10 on any 4G phone, so $79.99 in my case. Overnight shipping was FREE through LetsTalk. So basically I want it now! lol. Emailed me a confirmation and order number.

Only thing that will change is the phone.

I thought the activation fee is waived when u order from Sprint online. Pluss you can charge it to your bill.
I did this with the photon. Returned it after 3weeks. Never spent a dime out of pocket

My understanding is that the activation fee just went up to $36 everywhere except Sprint online where it is $15.

My issue with Sprint's online sales is that they cost $50 more than other places and they charge tax. (Which in California comes to about $43.)

I'm having trouble going through the steps to preorder through Walmart Wireless. I'm currently on a family unlimited plan. It keeps trying to get me to start a new plan or to upgrade. I'd like to renew the same plan for 2 the year agreement to get the phone for $154. I don't want to change anything. Can anyone help me out on what I need to do.
thanks.

This appears to be the same on all online order sites. You simply select the plan you currently have in order to upgrade your phone. Thus, the plan doesn't change as far as Sprint sees it.

If you have any issues with the plan after you get your phone, just call Sprint and have them put you back on the same plan. However, there really shouldn't be an issue if you select the same plan you currently have.

BTW, you are selecting a "new plan" even if it is the same plan. You are signing up for another two years.

What if you aren't fully eligible for the upgrade and tried to order it online from walmart?

They check your upgrade status before shipping the phone.

But just ask Sprint to move your upgrade up. They'll do it if you're within a few weeks. Try harder if it's a few months....
