OK peoples. For what you use cell phone? Except for communication (voice, text message...).

... is for organization (to-do, memo, notes), for business e-mail, is for Internet, or you use like MP3 player, or like camera, maybe for play games, maybe for IM, or for rewrite school test/exam or for something else.

    I want hear you....

Me: usually for organization (to-do, memo, notes), Internet, MP3 player and for play game (Tetris). Less for IM but sometimes yes. And of course for communication.

    currently:
I do TONS of text messaging. I average about 2,200-2,800 texts sent/received per month on my TMO Shadow. Very few phone calls made, average 100-150 minutes of allowed 700.
Very little gaming. No internet. Lots of pic messaging.

    after getting the G1:
Plan on more text messaging (glad there is threaded messaging). More pic messaging.
About same on calls. Little internet browsing planned. Little YouTube browsing. More Google Map use though, as I just returned my GPS device.

If anyone can confirm the ability to connect to, read and write to Google Docs, then ... I will be using GDocs too.

I would like that info too. My wife and I are wanting to use GDocs. I created a calendar for myself yesterday. I need to download the Outlook plug-in that will sync with GCal so I can sync my work calendar.

Yeah The android phone has support for most of google applications. So syncing won't be an issue.

I curently have a Treo 650 and use Mail (Gmail push by Chatteremail), calendar, and memos. Speaking of memos, does Android/Google have anything to write a quick memo in? AFAIK there is nothing and I consider that a major minus. I keep loads of things in my memos (cloth sizes, screen wiper sizes, new movie titles, shooping lists etc etc etc) so I would really love to have that on my next (hopefully Android) phone.
Google could also benefit from that, there is a lot to find out about people and there habits/interests from what they write in these memos.
I also think Google should have a feature that enables me to attach memos to emails I receive from others.
Se please Google, give us MEMOS!

You ever use lists for your memo needs?
I have been using RTM (RememberTheMilk.com) for my lists for a long time now. Just got to using smart-lists. It is a web based application.
I will most likely use it in some way on my home-screen (if I figure out how) to keep tabs on my ever-growing tasks.

I use my (Mogul: Sprint [HTC]) for everything. I use word, excel, powerpoint, adobe, the eReader function, texts, business & personal email, Market watch, financial organizer, music & much more. I had it set up as a flashlight & TV remote, but I've since removed that.

Don't worry, if there isn't already, there'll be an app for it soon.

There was a cab file for it at XDA Developers that enabled that. I could've also used it as a garage door opener. But I live in an apartment building, so it wouldn't have worked. There were so many things I could do with my phone. But after a while, features like that lose its luster.

    ...wow.
Can it grab beers from the fridge, too? Because, seriously. This needs to happen at some point in time.

If a future husband ever tried to train me to "fetch beers from the fridge," I think it'd be closely followed by divorce... ;)
