    Hi guys,

I was wondering if it is possible somehow to force Google account (calendar) sync when I wake up the phone (screen goes on) and data connection gets activated

I'm using AOKP rom to turn off data when screen goes off and turn it on when screen turns on, just to save battery.

    Thanks in advance :)

What phone do you have and which Rom developer are you running, that question would be best answered in that forum section, so give us the info and we will guide you in the proper direction to get your question answered

Green Power also has the ability to turn on and off data with the screen, but it also has the feature to force sync your accounts on data turn on within a certain interval. For example, you can set it to sync the accounts on the next data on on if 1hr has passed since the last sync. It could be set to less, like 15min or so.
