Recently got a replacement Droid and forgot what my Gmail ID was when it was time to log in. I am understanding now that it is very difficult to retrieve a lost Gmail ID. I didn't use a secondary email.

If anyone knows any tricks, or files that might just have the email address on it, i'd like to know. I assumed there would be some sort of download history for the market that might have the address on it.

The only lead I have right now is paying 8$ to do a background check of myself and probably not finding the right email anyway.

Please I need my contacts and apps back!
    Thanks

If you happened to be on latitude in the maps app, your gmail address shows up for your friends...

Wouldn't you have to be logged into gmail to get onto Latitude?

Also, I am not using appbrain.

Did you use your gmail account to send email to anyone? Ask a friend for your email address.

Well looks like it's one of those life lessons you just learn and never repeat again.

Never forget your Gmail id or password. Never. Your contacts, calendar, android market place apps are all tied to it.

It should be one of your most important information that you keep safe.

    Better luck next time.
