Help FOSSIL GEN 5 shows wrong time and date

Hi
Watch is connected and synced via Wear OS app.
until a few days ago, everything was fine.
suddenly, the watch started showing wrong time and date.
I guess factory reset would solve the problem but I rather avoid it in order not to go through reconfiguring.
Any tips?

Presumably your phone shows the correct time and date?

Is the watch reflecting an incorrect time zone offset or is it just completely wrong?

Have you restarted the watch?

Yes, the phone shows the correct time and date
The watch is completely wrong. for example, phone shows 0ctober 13, 17:23, watch shows April 16 06:46

Found the problem
for some reason, the "Automatic date & time" under settings\System\Date & time, was off...don't know how it changed, I definitely haven't changed it
