i would post this elsewhere but this forum is the only place i get good and straight answers.Droid X root users are the smartest:):):).

what are you guys using for free mp3 downloads on your phones? there used to be a few different ones out there in the market, but now there is only one called, "free music download". its ok, but not a huge database. what are my other options for free music on my phone?

What you're looking for is an app to illegally pirate music.

This board doesn't support that kind of thing.

Since I don't deal with music much on my phone, I don't have an answer for the op. Keep in mind that there is plenty of free mp3's available out there without the need to steal copyrighted material.

Although the op seems to think that this is a question for DroidX root users, it really isn't. I'm moving this to an appropriate section.

Another thing you need to remember is that at least a few of these apps have been known to contain Malware.

There are many legit ways to get music now though. Hopefully these suggestions will be helpful:

    Jango
Spotify (just launched in US, invite only at the moment I think)
    Pandora
    Slacker
    Amazon MP3
    Google Music (coming soon)
    Last.fm
