Upgraded stock samsung captivate to froyo 2.2 no problem.

Though, reading online about froyo 2.2 in general and I noticed some apps were to get a new make over...

Gtalk and Gmail and others, yup.

Market and camera, same from eclair 2.1 on my phone... Market is that ugly green design, not the silver one with tabs... Camera still has that slider tab not like what's here .

So now I'm wondering, did the market and camera apps not get updated in the official ATT froyo 2.2 release or is it just on my phone???

    I have market 2.3.4 and camera 1.0...

the market you have is the new one. the grey one with tabs is the old market.

the camera app is device specific, its what samsung put on there and has nothing to do with 2.2

I know an alternative camera .apk has been posted on XDA-don't have the time to look for it now...it replaces the current camera app with the most important item being the ability to choose location or not.
