    Hi Guys,

My friend uses Swype for unlocking her phone on a motorola Droid android 2.1.
We're forced to use word passwords due to company exchange server.
I wanted to try swype for the Desire for the password purposes
But when I have to unlock the phone, it's still text input, it's not swype.
I have check off swype in the keyboard input, I have switch to use swype when i have to type (ie when i use gtalk etc)
but it didn't seem to affect the password thing when it pops up :(
anyone one know a trick to this?

    Thanks

I remember reading in the Swype tutorial that password areas are not Swype-able for security purposes.

I use Tiny Password myself to get around this. It's an encrypted password keeper that uses a pattern unlock for a PIN. It helps fill in passwords so you don't have to type/swype your uid/pw.

    Give it a try.

Have you moved Swype to SD? I had similar issues with swype running from SD until i moved to app2sd+
