    i heard froyo wasn't even possible on our hero. the specs don't match up. i don't think it would ever be an official froyo..but if there is, then more power to that developer that got it out there!!

    there's most likely not going to be an *official* froyo.
    There will be an AOSP Froyo for our hero, though.

    Yes our phones run it, I ran it for a little while last night and "watched" (IRC) about 18 others run it as well as soon as we got the link.

    There are still issues to be worked out, and don't know how well flash is going to run on it (i could care less about flash tbh), but it seemed to run just fine for me. :)

    Yes I loaded up and ran for a while but switched off and on to Fresh today. It was very fast but the Camera, GPS , and Goog Maps(FC's) does not work. It looks very promising however but it took awhile until they got the googleshits converted to get the log in for google. I will probably be back once the next build is out.
