Help Froyo: Is calendar searchable?

In Froyo, is the calendar searchable?? I still can't believe that it isn't in 2.1.

Hi, for calendar search, can I suggest you try my app Searchify? apps by olilan Searchify

I've just updated it so it's now fully compatible with Froyo.

It's integrated into the phone search box, and as well as calendar search it's got calendar entry, wikipedia search, translation, calculation, keyword and unit conversion features. Oh, and it's free.
