    That is a glorious sight. As soon as it gets stable and with working hardware buttons I will be in. Thank god for root!

    Oh darn, now nobody will invent a time machine like I suggested in the other thread.

    Good job with 2.2 though. Its amazing how your beliefs can change in just a few hours around here.

    I'm really excited for 2.2 and everything but I just worry when Verizon/HTC will drop support for the Eris altogether. I kinda feel like I got the short end of the straw for getting an early Android phone. Ah well, such are the ways of technology i suppose.

    my guess is that it is standard with 2.2. I have not flashed Froyo yet to verify this.

    I like the white notification bar (and I think I saw it on another 2.1 ROM on xda the other day) and i'm really looking forward to a stable version!
