Help Froyo update -warning

I, like most, was exited about Froyo update.....but since updating my phone has huge lag.....much slower....calender doesn't display new entries and exchange email account stoped working!!! Thought Froyo was meant to make it 2-5 times faster???? All hype......maybe I made wrong choice and should have gone for iPhone4??

Anyone else had same issues?

Did you registry hack, what carrier are you on, what country are you from, which version of the SGS do you have?

I am in the UK on Vodafone......Galaxy s i9000. Updated via Samsung kies...no hack....all done officially!!!!
