The dreaded pink screen. I'm not sure anyone knows exactly how to fix it. I think most people luck their way out of it. Can you boot into recovery mode? Take out the battery, go get something to drink or something, keep it out for a good minute. Put it back in, hold the volume up button and the call button, then press and release the power button, not letting the other 2 buttons go until you see the recovery screen. What happens when you try that?

If I'm not mistaken I believe I read in the forums somewhere that eventually you may be able to get into recover.. like 5% chance.. Just keep trying to get into recovery mode like scur said..

I've heard it described as a purple screen of death b4, and the person went and had it replaced, after days of asking me advice on how to fix and me telling him everything I knew of.

These phones come with a one year warranty, so try to get it replaced for free. If they give you a hard time, go to a corporate store. If they still won't replace it, complain to corporate headquarters and Huawei. If you are persistent enough and don't blow a gasket on them, you should be able to get a new one out of them just to get you out of their hair. (it'll probably be a refurb though)
