I'm having one spot of trouble with the "Notepad" sample project: To select an item (for opening, or long-press menu access), the user needs to press not just the line of the list item, but the part of the line that has text in it -- this is a little tricky on the items with short names, and I have no idea how it would work on items with no (gasp) name.
In any case, I'd like to enable full-width selection, but setting android:layout_width="fill_parent" in every pertinent xml object does not seem to address selection.
Is this just my system, or a general thing?
