missing finger is your worry??
what about the rest of the body??
^^Ooh. See what you mean - especially the second one.
Well the advertising executives may not be smart, but at least they're well paid.
I'm at work, so two out of three ain't too shabby!
I laughed way too hard at this!
So plenty of food at work
I had one of these in the house when I was a kid,.. and no TV. What's that make me?
Actually, we did have a rotary phone that weighed a ton as well. The wooden one was the extension phone Really it was. You could answer calls on it but couldn't dial out.
That's not quite true. If you lifted the receiver off of the hook you got a dial tone. With practice you could place a call by clicking the hook the number of times for each number of the person you were calling. A number with a lot of nines and zeros was a real bear.
Those rotary phones were really super heavy, could use them as a weapon! I'm afraid all the check-boxes (except @olbriar's wooden phone) have been checked. Thanks for ruining my day so early
that is sad..
but.. the chart shows...
30% of the audience.. is also stupid!
does that explain election 2016?
running for cover
Actually, it's a bit higher than that. The count is only those who voted and omits those who thought the voting device was some newfangled kind of smartphone...
...and we know which type those two students are...
^^^ In life, as in art, there is always a lesson to be learned...
So I was taking one of those myriad internet quizzes (topic: classic paradoxes) and saved this screenshot. Not because I found this particular question interesting, and not because I wanted to show an example of how an awful color theme/font choice can ruin the ability to read information, but because one of the options that popped up was "Denny's Paradox." It was never a correct answer throughout the quiz, so I figure that we can come up with a few.
Denny's Paradox: A place is chosen because it offers a broad menu of options to please everyone in the group, but then everyone picks breakfast anyway.
Denny's Paradox: You pass a Denny's hoping to find something better that is open, and when that fails you turn back, only to reach a different Denny's now closer to you than the one to which you were returning.
What others do you have?
