No wipe needed, just apply the zip, unchanged. Wifi tethering works nice, tried it with my lappy

Can't get wifi tethering working, whenever I click to start tethering, it just says unable to start? :( I used the patch to go from 1.6.3.2 to 1.6.3.3

Does this update just bring tethering? I'll give it a miss if so - not that it's not great work, I just don't need it :)

FWIW I did the full update 1.6.3.3 from 1.6.3.1 and tethering worked right away. Clever.

I am not able backup G.Apps before upgrading. I am using the recovery 4.6 & it doesn't have any option for backing up the G.Apps. I successfully upgrade to the Galaxy but without G.Apps. Can anyone help???

Rastaman has it right (of course).

You simply restore the G.apps from the Samsung.tar that is on your phone, there's no backing up Google apps.

Read many posts on the drakaz forum about the GPS fix problem. how many of you guys faced the same? also some camera problems?
I want to move to Galaxo 1.6.3.3 as the camera is not fixed in GAOSP. Also the no sleep bug is fixed in galaxo. but do you guys recommend moving to galaxo?
