Does anyone else use this app? I am a big user of it since having it on my previous Droid 2. And since I got the GN my friends are saying any message they send me is hanging out with an "S" and i am not receiving it. My friend emailed me to gmail to tell me he sent me a message. And then until I actually go into the app for it to switch to a "D" or "R". I also don't get the LED notification for it either. Even with Light Flow which seems to not support Kik.

On my old phone KIK was always running...I didn't have to do anything to turn it on or off.

I'm having problems with kik now, not getting any messages and mine just say sent. my friend is getting the messages but im not getting the responses. it was working fine - now its not. i did install lightflow yesterday afternoon. im think that may have caused the problem.

Same here, in fact just really unreliable.
It was SO reliable on my Droid 2. I use it ALOT with most of my friends instead of texting so this is really not making me happy.

there is a new update for it in the market. it seems to work better getting/sending messages. but the keyboard is super-laggy in it now

yes, the latest version seems to have made things worse. I only get message notifications if I start up the app again if my phone has been previously turned off. It also seems like people don't get my messages sometimes. at least there is no more keyboard lag.
Seems as if Kik is aware of the issue with ICS. Hopefully there is a fix soon.
