That's what she said!!!
It never dawned on me...
HUGE Pats win! What a great game. Anyone else watch?
That game about made me smash my TV on multiple occasions. Stupid Broncos... But was that ball coated in ice? I've never seen so many fumbles and drops from both teams.
Pats won?! Oh hell yeah!
Went to bed early so didn't catch it. Guess I'll have to watch some highlights now.
Edit: WOW! There's a reason Pats are undefeated at home. Problem is, it's doubtful they'll get much homefield advantage in the playoffs.
Leave it to BB to come up with yet ANOTHER one...
It's 25 degrees here right now, possible light snow forecast for tomorrow night. You see, the ol' Chief's circular driveway is uphill both ways. I don't like ice & snow because I get stuck at home and the honey-do list triples
We're at 26, liable to hit 30 by dawn.
Watched Catching Fire last night. Twas good.
Go figure that the two people the cause the Pats to win on a muffed punt are ex-Patriots. Looks like Belichick has some double agents on some other teams, LOL. But on a serious note I am glad I had no investment in that game because I would've been going crazy. I think last night's game (and insane amount of fumbles) is the reason that you won't see another superbowl in a cold open-air stadium after this year. MUCH harder to hold on to a cold ball.
Good morning everyone - happy Monday. Hopefully working from home quite a bit this week because its going to be dead in the office.
Stupid Bears. They can't even lose enough games to get a good pick in April.
On another note, does anyone know of a good fast VPN service (for Android, not desktop) that is cheap/free?
T-Mobile has a major problem that is affecting a lot of people (by XDA and howardforums evidence, anyway). You get a huge burst of LTE speed when downloading something, but about 30 to 50 mb in, it slows down to a crawl. Like a few kb at a time. Doesn't matter what phone you're on, and it happens even in the best LTE covered areas (speedtest.net says I get 30 down, but I still have this problem).
The only fix that has been found is using a VPN. For some reason, it keeps speeds consistent throughout the download.
I'm using ExpressVPN right now on a free trial, but I would hate to have to pay $9 a month just to get a service that I should already have if the stupid carrier would do what it's supposed to.
Congrats Han! You are finally starting to think like a Packers/Lions/Vikings fan. We agree with that statement whole heartedly!
(P.S. I fixed the r at the end of ever for you, you got a little sloppy and it turned into an n. )
I wonder how many NFL players still think there's a second OT.
I always find it amazing that players don't even know the rules to the sport they're paid millions of dollars to play. I doubt many of us would last very long if we didn't know the rules of our work environment. :banghead:
Derrick Rose is out for the season again. This time it's the right knee.
Poor guy. I don't think his career is over, but he will never be the championship-winning superstar some expected.
Now the Bulls get what they deserve, unfortunately, for consistently failing to get a solid number 2 and for letting their bench leave.
If anyone is looking to give (or receive ) a sweet and inexpensive holiday gift, I just got a Belkin BT receiver for my surround sound system. Took seconds to set up and works great.

Thought you were going to send me one of your jams
We're setting up a sheet for who gets what now. Only 3 people left for jam. More for soap and plenty for cards.
Just opened up one of the extra jars of jams since I didn't taste once it cooled. Texture is great, a little grainy, but flavor is really nice. Ginger isn't as strong as I thought it'd be. Wish it had some more acid (lemon juice). Trust me, I'm hyper critical of my cooking.
Think the fam will enjoy it.
I do like sending Christmas cards. Wish we could get a mailing list going here on AF
I don't even decorate for Xmas. Being single, I don't see the point.
It's still fun. Maybe a little tree and some snow globes?
Nah. My last apartment, two of my nieces and my sister came over and decorated it.
When I was married I would put up the tree on Thanksgiving.
I do watch Christmas Vacation and Home Alone every Xmas Eve though.
I watch You've Got Mail during the holidays
