Can someone help me out here? Why is 32 gig Nexus 5 $399 direct from Google but $450 at tmobile store? Is it a different model or something?

Sitting here kinda lurking, though Ive been here since day the Nexsus unveling in Japan...
My VZW contract has expired and I'm on mo/mo now with unlimited. My bill with 450 phone min and unl txt and unl data is 87 and change a month with my govt discount.
I want to upgrade my SGN to a LG G2, but I think my best bet is buying it from someone else other that VZW . Kinda looking at Swappa. only downfall is no warranty, correct?

VZW offered to give me a 2 yr promotional plan and the phone for 49bucks and move my unl data to 6gb. I kinda hate to give up unl even though i only use 4 gb a month, but I would gain a 2yr contract.
Am I missing anything as in other deals. VZW seems to have the best coverage in the Pensacola area.
So I guess its me and Swappa? lol

Boo Niners, I hope my Pats beat them in the bowl. I'm in the same boat as you, trying to protect my unlimited data. I bought a used phone for my wife, si she is all set for a while and that route works. I'm looking there, but I am also looking at buying a brand new phone at full price so I still have warranty and am able to put insurance on it. You can still do that through VZW and keep your unlimited. You may need to bark a little, but you can.

Device Payment Plan. Keep unlimited and pay for the phone over 12 months.

I imagine they lock you in for a 2year contract doing that, right? Id probably rather just pay cash anyway. I absolutely am going to stay month to month as long as I can.

Yeah, I did the device payment plan as well and I'm pretty sure you're not signing another contract. At least, when I got my G2 I never signed anything.

My friend with a degree in computer science said it was really disappointing and unrealistic. He said a computer program like that would basically be impossible.
Careful, it might not even be the 32 gig at the T-Mobile store. When I checked a few weeks ago, they only had the 16 gig.

Gravity (the movie) was completely impossible but a lot of people loved it.

The great thing about movies is they are an escape from reality. A moment in time to enjoy a story. It's like being a kid again with everything seeming possible which lets your mind go off in all sorts of directions creating more stories for you to enjoy, either for yourself or for others in the form of a book or movie which in turn creates more and more stories.

Enjoy a story for what it is. Leave reality out of it.

Perhaps because it's the LTE version?

WOW, important piece of information. I only want lte edition. I had no idea the nexus at google had different hardware than the nexus at the store. I thought all nexus 5 had lte.

    Oh jeez, reading comprehension much?!
I thought you wrote the Nexus 7 2013.
My bad. Not sure why it would cost more there, but I'm not surprised. I'd go with the one direct from Google and save some money (they're all LTE).

Well the topics do sway about. LOL. Thats a relief though. I would have been really pissed to buy a nexus 5 that had no lte.

Yeah, I'm not sure why T-Mobile won't sell the 32 gig. I bought it direct from Google and just use T-Mobile for their network. Definitely a good decision.

My first choice would be to purchase at best buy because I think they would match price and I accrue points toward future purchases however they also only have the 16gb version.
