Help Galaxy Note 10.0 won't update Samsung Apps

I have just purchased a Galaxy Note Model GT-N8000 Android Version 4.0.4
The problem is it keeps telling me it needs to update my Samsung account and a Samsung Apps update is available.
I click ok and it doesn't seem to update because the next time I try to open Samsung apps I get the same message
I went to Samsung support and it advised to go to Settings and check the box allowing installation of non-market apps which I did, but still; every time I try to open a Samsung app I get the message again
Can someone please help?

Settings<Application Manager> All> Samsung Apps> Clear Data and Force Shutdown.

Open Samsung Apps again and see what happens.

Thanks for your help
I followed your instructions, cleared data, force closed and disabled Samsung Apps, restarted and enabled, still not working, switched off wifi and actually was then able to update Samsung account using 3G, turned wi-fi back on, went to account.samsung.com and signed in there
Back on the device I was finally able to open Samsung Apps so everything is now running perfectly
