Galaxy Note 3 S Pen Issue

Hello all,

First time on the forum and proud to say I am finally free of the Apple product line. I recently (3 days ago) bought a Galaxy Note 3 and everything worked great out of the box. Today I get to work and try to take a note with my S-Pen and it didn't work! The pen is not "recognized" as being out of the phone. It won't write on the screen and pushing the button does nothing.

I attempted a restart. I have removed the battery for 15 seconds and powered it back up. Still nothing. Also, I noticed the Air Gestures aren't working. Screen capture won't work by sliding my hand over. Anybody else had issues with this? Thanks!

If it's not recognizing the S-Pen removal something is definitely wrong, I would return it immediately under warranty and get a new one.

Called Radioshack where I purchased the phone. They ordered me a new one and should have it in a couple days.
