The Galaxy Note 8 has the ability to change the entire look of the phone by giving you access to Themes. This changes almost every part of the UI from the icons, wallpapers, notification shade, and even the navigation bar.

To change the theme on your Galaxy Note 8, here's how you do it:
  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select Wallpapers and themes
  3. Tap the Themes button at the bottom for full themes (wallpapers, icons, and UI)
  4. Browse the list of themes available in the store
  5. Tap on a theme to view additional details and preview
  6. Tap DOWNLOAD to begin downloading the theme
  7. Once the theme has finished downloading, tap APPLY button
  8. All of your themes will be kept inside the Themes > My themes section inside the app
