Help Galaxy phone not pairing with tablet

I have a galaxy s 2 and I am trying to pair it with my samsung galaxy tablet to send a picture off my phone to the tablet via bluetooth.. My tablet says they are paired but my phone says paired but not connected. The tablet doesn't recognize that anything is attempting to be sent and my phone says attempt failed. Does anyone know how to fix this?
