Greetings and Welcome to the Forum.

Mine is just fine. But that's not to say that I don't drop a call once in awhile with ANY of my phones. I have activated accounts on AT&T as well as Verizon, since I have five lines and several smartphones I enjoy using.

I can tell you in no uncertain terms that both carriers have great signals in their coverage areas. And _that_ (coverage area) is the key. Far too many people fail to recognise that each carrier has it's strong and weak areas. It's the nature of where there towers are located, the terrain, etc.

I've had nothing but great coverage in my area (CA) and all up and down the state when I travel.

Finally what needs to be said, is that if any network is really busy and serving the signal to a lot of phones then dropped calls are going to happen no matter what carrier you're using.

Also remember a cell phone is only a radio and it is after all... wireless. So it's not going to be perfect.

All to often when one gets a new phone, if something like dropped calls happen in the first few days it's easy to overreact and suspect the phone. The new chips that Samsung is using for it's Galaxy 2 phones are simply stellar. The call quality I experience is loud and clear with very warm tones and no hiss.

Hopefully I've answered your question and given you a little piece of mind. Believe me if I had any real concern I would share it with you.

I say just try and relax, use it and enjoy it. I've had a huge number of smartphones over the last five years, and hands down my SGS II is the finest.

    Cheers... :)
