Help Galaxy S crashing randomly

So i've got galaxy S for like 2 months now ... had 2.2 on it till yesterday (it kept crashing back then aswell, but not as much as now).
Updated to 2.3.6 with kies ... everything went fine, but it keeps crashing randomly every 5-15min ... tried hard reset etc.
So i was wondering ... could it be faulty fw ... maybe flashing with odin would help? ... or i was even suspecting it's faulty battery ...
Sry ... i'm kinda newbie when it comes to android ...

tried flashing with odin to 2.3.5 ... didn't help still crashing ... no clue what to do :S
